I was there but later on changed my order to go. When I got home I realized they didn’t put my noodles and soup separately and the noodles was so soggy and the soup only has little left. I ordered to go from uber eats before so I am so sure that the to go usually separate soup and noodles. Very disappointed this time

A friend and I ate here and we ordered Crab & Pork Soup Dumplings, Shrimp & Pork Dumplings, and Broccoli. Both dumplings smelled very fishy but didn’t think too much about it. After dining at the restaurant for about 20 minutes I had to run to the restroom to vomit. I got violently ill. I told the server that I think it might’ve been the fish and she told me she was going to speak with her supervisor. After a while, she came back and said he was busy, but he wants to call me later and said my stomach probably wasn’t used to the heavy food. I have a lot of experience eating dumplings at much better establishments than this one. I feel like it was very condescending that he would say that. I never received a call from the manager. I would be very careful dining at this restaurant. on top of getting food illness, I also thought this restaurant was very loud and the service was subpar. It was really empty when we went, but we had a hard time flagging down our server when we needed her.

A nice place without any pretension—simple, tasty, quick, and attentive service. The food is good, and the place is busy, which speaks to its solid reputation. I can’t say anything particularly outstanding, but there’s definitely nothing negative either. It’s comfortable and pleasant—great for a quick bite, a family dinner, or even a date if you’re not looking for anything too fancy or expecting a “wow” experience. A perfect spot for a calm and comfortable conversation. I’d recommend stopping by and forming your own impression.

Ordered to go. Ordered boiled shrimp, pork, and chive dumplings; custard buns; and beef roll. Beef roll was great. Not amused that the shrimp in the dumplings were raw, which also means that the pork was potentially raw because the dumpling was not entirely cooked through. First time and last time here for the raw shrimp (and potentially raw pork inside the dumpling).

I recently visited Northern Cafe and ordered the bok choy, Kung Pao chicken, shrimp dumplings, white rice, and Lao Gan Ma fried noodles with chicken—and everything was excellent. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and served in generous portions. While every dish was flavorful, the shrimp dumplings were the clear star of the show—perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely delicious. Service was good with solid customer service, and the restaurant had a nice, clean atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would definitely return.
